Still working out the illustrations for the self promo and keeping in mind continuity and style through the booklet. Once I have the basic sketches for the dummy book, I will start working on the computer to create a layered look, similar to Penny Olive. I am still undecided if I will hand paint these illustrations or do them digitally. I may experiment with both this coming week.
I met with Bosler last week to go over the story for the self promo piece. While talking with her I realized that I wanted to piece to say one thing and show something else, which would make it funny. I am thinking of this piece like those meme's that you see on facebook (see below)....
