PE Week 5: Project Refinement

Deliverables:

Brand book including: campaign overview, logo, line of 10 tee shirt designs, colors, patters, typography, best practices, photography, illustrations, ads, product set up in store, etc.

Timeline:

Week 5: 2/24/17

  • Present project proposal

Week 6: 3/3/17

  • Logo sketches

  • Illustrations & type for tee shirts

  • choose color palette

Week 7: 3/10/17

  • Begin laying out brand book in InDesign

  • Tighten logo

  • Tighten illustrations & type for tee shirts

  • choose typography for brand

Week 8: 3/17/17

  • Begin laying out brand book in InDesign

  • Tighten logo

  • Tighten illustrations & type for tee shirts

  • choose typography for brand

Week 9: 3/24/17

  • Continue laying out brand book in InDesign

  • Tighten logo

  • Tighten illustrations & type for tee shirts

  • choose typography for brand

Week 10: 3/31/17

  • Continue laying out brand book in InDesign

  • Tighten illustrations & type for tee shirts

  • Decide on printed tees for photos or blank tees with mock up in PhotoShop (this depends on cost and whether or not the designs are ready to print)

  • Think about design of tee shirts to be unique and more than just a tee (consider cut for different body types and accents (i.e. lace, fringe, etc.))

Week 11: 4/7/17

  • Possible Spoonflower pattern order

  • Get tee shirts printed

  • Organize kid models

Week 12: 4/14/17

  • Get tee shirts printed (if printing)

Week 13: 4/21/17

  • Shoot photos for brand book

Week 14: 4/28/17

  • Indesign layout

  • Photo layout presentation

Week 15: 5/5/17

  • Get booklet printed

  • Work on presentation

Week 16: 5/12/17

  • Final presentation/ fashion show
