PRINTMAKING IS - WEEK 5

This week...... tweaking patterns which required a lot of smaller linocut elements. I'm finding the more lino and wood I cut, the more in love I fall with the materials and process. I am finding that I'm getting better at controlling things. Though small areas are still really tough for me :[ Going to keep going and print a bunch of new stuff Saturday!

I also stumbled upon an awesome article about a PA Dutch printer/craftsperson from a magazine in 1954, Dorothy Kalbach. It was very interesting!! I found her inspiring! Very excited to carry on this tradition in a new way... more to come this week.
